Job summary

AppFolio seeks a strategic Total Rewards leader to shape pay, equity, and benefits for a growing real estate tech company. Drive compensation governance, equity strategy, and multi-year Total Rewards programs in partnership with the Board.

You will build and lead a high-performing team, collaborate with Finance, Legal, and HR Business Partners, and translate complex data into actionable executive insights. California-based with hybrid work options.

Qualifications

12+ years of progressive Total Rewards experience with senior leadership responsibility.
Experience with public company governance and Compensation Committee interactions.
Proven ability to develop, execute, and evolve multi-year Total Rewards strategies.
Strong analytical capabilities to translate data into executive recommendations.

Responsibilities

Lead Total Rewards strategy and roadmap aligned to business goals.
Partner with Finance, Legal, and Talent teams to drive compensation governance.
Advise executive leadership and Board on compensation, equity, and benefits topics.
Coach and develop a high-performing Total Rewards team, ensuring governance and compliance.
