Job summary

AppFolio is seeking a senior Total Rewards leader to shape compensation, benefits, and equity strategies in a public company environment. You will drive governance, pay equity, and executive compensation while building a high-performing team dedicated to strategic Total Rewards initiatives.

You will partner with finance, legal, and HR to ensure Total Rewards is integrated with planning cycles and business strategy, delivering clear, data-driven insights for executives and the board.

Responsibilities

• Lead Total Rewards modernization across compensation, equity, benefits, and career frameworks.
• Partner with Total Rewards leader on executive compensation strategy and materials for Committee and Board.
• Own multi-year benefits roadmap, plan design, funding strategy, wellness programming, and employee experience.
• Lead annual pay equity analyses and build scalable governance across all Total Rewards programs.
• Equip leaders to make pay decisions and communicate clearly with transparency.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team spanning Compensation, Benefits, and Executive & Equity Compensation; coach leaders.
• Collaborate across Finance, Legal, Talent Acquisition, HRBPs, and People Operations to integrate Total Rewards with 3YP and talent strategy.
