Job summary

Associated Electric Cooperative, Inc. seeks a transformative leader to build and head a unified Technology Operations function. You will integrate cyber and physical security with platform, product, and workforce technology, creating a single control room for enterprise IT.

Lead from day one, align teams, and deliver systems that keep the grid reliable and productive. You will shape the operating model, own the platform’s roadmap, and drive AI-enabled playbooks and automation to power rapid

Qualifications

10+ years of leadership experience in technology operations, security, or enterprise-scale environments.
7+ years of people leadership with direct reports and cross-functional collaboration.
Proven track record in 24/7 monitoring, incident response, and crisis management.
Strong understanding of cybersecurity, enterprise systems, and observability platforms.

Responsibilities

Form Technology Operations by unifying cyber, physical security, platform, product, and workforce tech.
Run the operation from day one and scale the team as systems come online.
Define the operating model across previously separate teams and handoffs.
Build and own the control system platform with alerts, dashboards, and AI playbooks.
Onboard the enterprise with defined ownerships, thresholds, and runbooks.
Expand services to ensure business continuity, disaster recovery, and capacity management.
