Job summary

ECS4Kids in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Vice President of Technology & Security to serve as a strategic technology partner to executive leadership, translating agency goals into a multi-year tech and security roadmap. The VP leads IT and information security, ensuring reliability, compliance, and effective infrastructure across Florida and Georgia.

You will act as ISSO, oversee SaaS/cloud platforms including Microsoft 365, NetSuite, and Paylocity, manage vendor relationships, risk, disaster

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related field.
• 7–10 years of progressively responsible IT experience with leadership over cybersecurity, SaaS/cloud platforms, and governance.
• Experience reading SOC 1 (Type II) and SOC 2 (Type II) audit reports and evaluating control deficiencies.
• Experience leading information security initiatives and privacy/compliance programs in regulated environments.
• Nonprofit/education sector experience is preferred.

• Develop and execute a multi-year technology and security roadmap aligned with agency goals.
• Provide strategic IT leadership to executive leadership and the Board, balancing strategic and hands-on work.
• Oversee SaaS/cloud platforms, vendor management, security controls, and disaster recovery planning.
