Job summary

Environmental Solutions Group is seeking a Chief Technology Officer to lead the engineering organization behind our digital portfolio, including 3rd Eye, Soft-Pak, and AI/data platforms. The CTO will own architecture, platforms, and operations, guiding two groups: Architecture & Quality and Platforms & Operations.

This role requires 12+ years of leadership, strong cloud/AI experience, and a track record of delivering complex software on time and on budget.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressive engineering leadership experience.
• 7+ years leading engineering organizations of 30+ people, including senior managers and principal-level architects.
• Deep hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP), modern software architecture, and AI/ML systems.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end engineering delivery across ESG’s digital platforms from architecture through build, release, and production operations.
• Hold the engineering team accountable to commitments and timelines; surface risks early and remove blockers.
• Partner with Product and Agile to translate the roadmap into achievable engineering plans; maintain disciplined agile execution.
• Lead Architecture, Quality & Security to govern cloud, edge, and AI systems; ensure secure, reliable, scalable platforms.
