Job summary

RDI Education seeks a Head of Technology to lead technical strategy across venture studio activities, strategic product initiatives, and affiliate relationships. You will guide build-versus-buy decisions, oversee architectural direction, and ensure governance of data, hosting, and security.

This role requires strong leadership across vendors, partners, and internal teams. You will evaluate product readiness, manage risk, and translate business goals into technical roadmaps while protecting RDI's

Qualifications

• Strong technical fluency across software architecture, APIs, hosting models, deployments.
• Knowledge of data governance, access controls, and security fundamentals.
• Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear business language for executives.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including legal, IT, and external vendors.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership across RDI's venture studio and initiatives.
• Identify and validate product opportunities across CSUSA and education market.
• Assess build-versus-buy-versus-partner pathways and recommend approaches.
• Contribute technical perspective to venture formation, incubation, and scaling.
• Own internal technical understanding across priority solutions.
• Evaluate software products for architecture quality and long-term viability.
• Lead technical diligence for vendors, partners, or acquisitions.
• Translate technical risks and requirements for nontechnical leadership.
• Coordinate with legal, IT, compliance on remediation and control plans.
• Standardize technical documentation and governance across initiatives.
