Job summary

NewsBreak is seeking a Head of Talent to build and scale the talent acquisition function end-to-end. This hands-on leadership role partners with the CEO and executive team on hiring, workforce planning, and org design, while running critical senior searches.

You’ll architect how NewsBreak attracts, evaluates, and closes top talent across engineering, AI/ML, product, and G&A, acting with speed and rigor of a high-growth AI-native company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in talent acquisition/recruiting.
• 4+ years leading and scaling a recruiting team.
• Demonstrated success recruiting for technical organizations (engineering, AI/ML, or product).
• Strategic partner to founders/ C‑suite executives with strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end talent acquisition strategy translating growth into hiring roadmap.
• Build, lead and mentor the talent acquisition team to scale.
• Advise CEO and executive team on org design, workforce planning, and succession planning.
