Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent with Board Certification in Anatomic Pathology.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the Surgical Pathology Service and establish long-term clinical, operational, academic, and scientific priorities.
• Deliver expert diagnostic interpretation across a broad range of complex oncologic surgical pathology cases.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary oncology teams across surgical, medical, and radiation oncology programs.
• Support innovative and patient-centered diagnostic approaches within cancer care.
• Advance quality initiatives, operational excellence, and subspecialty pathology innovation within the division.
• Define and advance the translational and scientific vision for surgical pathology research.
• Develop and support independent and collaborative translational research programs.
• Publish and present scholarly work advancing oncologic pathology and diagnostic innovation.
• Mentor faculty, fellows, residents, medical students, and trainees within pathology and oncology programs.
