Job summary

Bay City Electric Works is seeking a Senior Director/VP of Supply Chain and Parts to lead a scalable, high-performance organization in California. You will drive strategic and operational excellence, align inventory, warehousing, and distribution, and leverage technology to enable AI-driven productivity.

This role reports to the executive team and partners with Service and Field Operations to ensure 24/7/365 support, strong vendor relationships, and a disciplined cadence with KPIs.

Qualifications

• Proven senior leadership experience in supply chain, parts, or distribution operations.
• Strong strategic, analytical, and operational capabilities.
• Experience building and scaling inventory and supply chain systems.
• Track record of driving performance through data, KPIs, and process discipline.

Responsibilities

• Lead and optimize all aspects of Parts and Supply Chain operations, including inventory strategy, warehousing, and distribution.
• Design and implement scalable systems for forecasting, replenishment, stock planning, and inventory optimization.
• Establish and maintain best-in-class warehouse standards—ensuring clean, organized, and highly efficient environments across all sites.
• Drive consistent execution with a focus on on-time delivery, accuracy, and proactive communication.
• Build and manage strong relationships with vendors, suppliers, and key wholesale customers.
• Partner closely with Service and Field Operations teams to ensure rapid, accurate, and reliable support in a 24/7/365 environment.
• Implement data-driven performance management through KPIs, scorecards, and a disciplined operating cadence.
• Lead, develop, and elevate a high-performing team; assess talent and build organizational capability for long-term growth.
• Maintain visibility and control over open orders, quotes, and service work-in-progress to ensure operational excellence.
