Job summary

Zipline in South San Francisco is seeking an AI-led leader to own the strategy and execution for AI-enabled supply chain products. You will translate operational pain points across supplier management, inventory, and manufacturing readiness into production-grade workflows that improve aircraft availability and reduce delays.

You'll work with Supply Chain, Engineering, Data, IT, and external vendors to deploy copilots, agents, and decision-support tools, using SQL, Python, and BI tools to turn

Qualifications

• Fluency in SQL and Python; able to turn raw data into usable workflows.
• Hands-on experience with AI tools, LLMs, copilots, agents, or workflow platforms.
• Ability to translate ambiguous business needs into clear requirements and roadmaps.
• Experience with supply chain data models and ERP/MRP systems.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and change-management skills.
• Ability to assess AI outputs and prevent unreliable results.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end AI-enabled supply chain products from ideation to production rollout.
• Deliver automated web apps and supporting processes with measurable KPIs in 90 days.
• Design AI-assisted workflows, copilots, and decision-support tools.
• Partner across Supply Chain, Engineering, Data, IT, Finance, and Manufacturing.
• Build data foundations, maps, and governance for reliable AI workflows.
• Use SQL, Python, BI tools to prototype tools blending ERP, MRP, inventory, and cost data.
• Lead change management and adoption across frontline and leadership.
• Establish governance for AI use balancing speed, security, auditability and oversight.
