Job summary

Trenholm State Community College invites applications for a Dean of Student Affairs who will provide strategic leadership for student services, dual enrollment, TRIO programs, campus security, and athletics. You will oversee enrollment management, advising, financial aid, student life, and conduct in alignment with the college mission.

The role includes Title IX coordination, collaboration with Academic Affairs, and oversight of budgetary resources to support student success and retention.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree from a regionally accredited institution.
• Minimum of four (4) years of full-time director level experience in student services.
• Experience with BANNER.
• Doctorate in higher education or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Chief Student Affairs Officer with strategic leadership for student services and success initiatives.
• Provide admin leadership for Admissions, Records, Financial Aid, Veterans Affairs, Recruitment, Orientation, Student Success, Counseling, Student Activities, Athletics, Campus Police, TRIO, Dual Enrollment, and Early College.
• Develop, implement and evaluate goals, policies, and initiatives to promote access, engagement, retention and completion.
• Lead and supervise Student Affairs personnel with professional development and performance evaluations.
• Develop and manage divisional budgets and allocate resources effectively.
• Serve as Title IX Coordinator and ensure compliance with Title IX and laws; coordinate required training and investigations.
• Collaborate with Academic Affairs and other divisions to support student success and institutional goals.
• Coordinate behavioral intervention, student conduct, crisis response, and campus safety with Campus Police.
