Job summary

Acentra Health is seeking a VP of Strategy to partner with the CEO, executive team, and Board to shape and execute the company’s enterprise strategy. This leader will translate investment theses into strategic initiatives that drive revenue growth, margin expansion, and long-term value creation.

The role requires hands-on execution, transformation leadership, and close collaboration with functional leaders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 10+ years of progressive experience in strategy, consulting, or senior operating roles.
• Proven track record leading enterprise‑level strategy and transformation.
• Strong financial acumen and deep understanding of EBITDA drivers, cash flow, and ROI.
• Proven success partnering with executive leadership teams to drive business outcomes.
• Experience working directly with Boards and investors.
• Strategic thinking with strong execution discipline.
• Flexibility to travel to onsite meetings as needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and refresh of Acentra Health’s enterprise strategy and translate value creation plan into actionable initiatives.
• Oversee strategic planning process including transformation and multi-year operating plans; align strategy with capital allocation.
• Support M&A and portfolio optimization with the GovCorp team, including strategic diligence and integration planning.
• Prepare strategic materials for Board meetings and investor updates; model scenarios with PE sponsors.
• Cascade strategy into business units and drive a performance‑driven culture; align incentives and metrics.
• Read, understand, and adhere to all corporate policies including HIPAA Privacy and Security Rules.
