Zusammenfassung

WECC seeks a Vice President, Strategic Engagement to lead and coordinate the organization’s outreach to industry and government partners across the United States, Canada, and Mexico.

Reporting to the CEO, you will steer WECC’s marketing, communications, branding, and reputation-building initiatives while collaborating with the executive team and the ERO Enterprise to advance reliability and security of the bulk power system.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in marketing/public policy or related field with extensive engagement experience.
• Proven leadership and relationship-building across government and industry stakeholders.
• Experience translating policy discussions into actionable guidance for executives.
• Strong understanding of energy reliability and regulatory environments.

Aufgaben

• Lead WECC's engagement strategy with industry, government partners, and stakeholders across the U.S., Canada, and Mexico.
• Act as a primary external spokesperson and oversee communications, branding, and reputation-building initiatives.
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with regulatory bodies, policymakers, and coalitions.
• Guide internal teams to translate insights into measurable outcomes and long-term strategy.
• Foster a high-performing, diverse team and coordinate cross-functional efforts with executive leadership.
