You will guide multiple engineering teams, define standards, and drive production-ready software across perception, controls, and embedded computing domains. Strong leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional software engineering experience, with leadership at Staff/Principal/Chief level.
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive experience designing and implementing complex software systems in robotics or autonomous systems.
• Deep expertise in software architecture, performance, multithreading, memory management, and system programming.
• Proven ability to set technical direction across multiple teams and drive architectural decisions.

Responsibilities

• Define and own the overall software architecture and technical direction for robotics and embedded systems.
• Lead software initiatives from concept through deployment and validation.
• Remain hands-on in code, contributing to high-risk areas in C++ and Python.
• Establish engineering standards, architectural principles, and review processes.
• Architect systems integrating perception, computer vision, controls, and embedded computing.
• Provide technical leadership across software and multidisciplinary teams.
