Job summary

Hanwha Defense USA, Inc. seeks a Director of Security, Shipbuilding, to lead the security program for the shipbuilding business under a Special Security Agreement.

You will ensure NISP compliance, coordinate with DCSA and contracting officers, and manage a team responsible for protecting classified information, personnel, and assets across a high-security environment. This role requires extensive expertise in industrial security, FOCI mitigation, incident response, and security training.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher.
• 10+ years of experience in industrial security management.
• Exceptional understanding of the NISP and 32 CFR Part 117.
• Experience with FOCI Mitigation and supplemental plans.

Responsibilities

• Maintain protocols to prevent unauthorized access to classified or sensitive information.
• Educate employees on cybersecurity, physical security, and handling of classified documents.
• Ensure compliance with NISP and 32 CFR Part 117.
• Act as the point of contact for DCSA and federal contracting officers.
• Lead and manage the security team with training and performance evaluations.
• Conduct risk assessments and audits to identify threats and vulnerabilities.
