Job summary

The Kurita Group seeks a Vice President, SHEQ to lead the company’s Environmental, Health, Safety and Quality functions across facilities and field operations in the United States. You will set strategy, governance, and performance standards, ensuring regulatory compliance and continuous improvement across multiple business units.

You will build and lead a high‑performing SHEQ organization, drive risk management, and integrate sustainability into operations while partnering with senior leaders

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive EHS, Quality, or SHEQ leadership experience.
• Experience leading SHEQ across multiple facilities and field operations.
• Knowledge of OSHA, EPA, DOT/PHMSA regulations and environmental, chemical, and safety regs.
• Experience with ISO-based Quality Management Systems and external certification processes.
• Ability to lead through influence and hold leaders accountable for EHSQ performance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead the enterprise SHEQ strategy, policies, standards, and performance objectives.
• Establish a culture of safety, quality, compliance, and accountability across the organization.
• Provide executive leadership and direction to the SHEQ function and team.
• Oversee regulatory compliance across facilities, field operations, projects, and customer sites.
• Embed SHEQ into business decisions, projects, and daily operations.
• Lead cross-functional and enterprise-wide SHEQ initiatives and continuous improvement.
