Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a Director of Security Architecture to establish and lead the security architecture strategy, standards, and design practices across the organization. This role reports to the VP of Information Security & Risk and aligns security architecture with business priorities and risk management objectives.

The position drives architecture strategy, governance, standards, solution design, and tooling optimization.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security architecture, or information security, with focus on enterprise architecture and solution design preferred
• Experience leading architecture reviews, defining standards, and guiding secure solution development
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CCSP, SABSA, or TOGAF are preferred

Responsibilities

• Develop enterprise security architecture strategy aligned with cybersecurity, risk management, and business objectives
• Establish governance frameworks to guide secure design and deployment across the organization
• Collaborate with cybersecurity leadership, enterprise architecture, and tech teams to define target-state architecture and roadmap
• Provide guidance and support for cybersecurity requirements in projects and ensure alignment with standards
