Showa Boston Institute in Boston, MA seeks a Nursing Services Director to supervise the Health Services department year-round. You will plan and implement nursing policies, lead a nurse-led health office, coordinate with off-site MD supervision, and ensure a safe school environment.

• Valid license to practice as an RN in Massachusetts.
• RN-BSN or NP with appropriate specialty.
• 5–7 years’ direct patient care experience.
• At least 4 years in a nursing supervisor or management role.
• Experience supervising a small team of nurses and medical assistants.
• Maintain current Healthcare Provider CPR with AED.

Responsabilidades

• Supervises the full-time year-round operation of the Health Services department and plans nursing policies and services.
• Direct patient care, assessment, planning and evaluation of care for students.
• Lead nurses and per diem staff; recruit, select, orient, and train clinical staff.
• Coordinate with school doctor, Hibari Medical and Boston doctors; liaise with Showa Tokyo partners.
• Manage health documentation system and Health Services budget.
• Develop and implement health, immunization, HIPAA and public health policies.
• Ensure compliance with public health requirements and infection control measures.
• Create care plans for students with complex needs and provide staff training.
• Oversee emergency response planning and on-call support.
