Job summary

Kokosing, a leading general contractor, is seeking a Director of Risk to guide enterprise risk management for a multibillion-dollar company. The role reports to the Chief Risk Officer and collaborates with CEO, legal, finance, operations, and safety teams to proactively identify and mitigate risks that could affect financial performance and reputation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with 7–10+ years in risk management
Experience leading enterprise risk programs in construction or related field
Professional designations (ARM, CRM, CIC, CPCU or similar) preferred

Responsibilities

Develop and execute a comprehensive enterprise risk management strategy aligned with corporate objectives.
Serve as senior advisor to executive leadership on risk exposure, mitigation, and threats.
Oversee insurance program design, placement, and administration across all lines of coverage.
Lead claims oversight, reserve methodologies, and settlement authority with executive alignment.
Partner with legal and operations to manage contract risk transfer and compliance.
