Job summary

You will oversee insurance programs, captives, ERM governance, and claims management while partnering with the CHRO and senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree; risk management focus preferred.
• Advanced degree such as MBA preferred.
• Professional credentials (CPCU/ARM/CRM) preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with captive insurance and ERM processes.

Responsibilities

• Establish risk management policies, procedures, and guidelines.
• Identify and analyze risk exposures and determine response; continual monitoring.
• Provide consulting on EHS, insurance, and risk issues.
• Evaluate and select insurance programs; communicate to stakeholders.
• Lead administration of captive insurance companies.
• Lead Enterprise Risk Management process to mitigate major risks.
• Oversee claims management activities.
• Review insurance provisions in major contracts.
• Produce reports and analyze risk financials.
• Develop training on insurance and risk management.
• Spearhead due diligence for acquisitions.
• Direct inspections, surveys and audits across portfolios.
• Ensure reporting requirements are met under policies.
• Direct risk management staff.
• Travel 15–20%.
