Job summary

Astral at Auburn is seeking a Nurse Leader to assume responsibility for the administrative, clinical, and operational functions of our Assisted Living and Memory Support programs. You will oversee daily operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor staff to uphold high quality care.

The role emphasizes maintaining quality standards while achieving financial objectives, including budgeting and resource allocation, with a focus on safe resident environments and collaborative leadership

Qualifications

• Nursing degree from an accredited college or university.
• Active, unrestricted LPN or RN license in practicing state and CPR certification.
• Minimum 3 years of nursing management experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee administration and operation of Assisted Living and Memory Support services.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal laws and policies.
• Provide clinical education, training, and mentoring.
• Monitor operating budgets and allocate resources including labor costs, equipment and meeting targets.
• Maintain an attractive, safe, and sanitary environment for residents and staff.
• Serve on the QAPI Committee and report key indicators.
• Coordinate state-required educational programs such as First Aid, CPR, TB monitoring.
• Partner with admissions and marketing for smooth transitions for new residents.
