Job summary

Atria Senior Living in Quincy, MA is seeking a licensed nurse leader to oversee the Resident Services Department, coordinate resident care, and supervise staff to meet state and company guidelines.

You will partner with the Life Guidance Director, deliver ongoing staff training, manage schedules and budgets, and ensure medication administration safety while maintaining a positive community image for residents and families. Flexibility with shifts and driving may be required.

Qualifications

• RN/LPN/LVN licensed to practice as required by state regulations.
• Experience in direct patient care and assessment of clinical conditions.
• Experience recruiting, training and managing healthcare staff.
• Experience at department head level in Assisted Living or related industry.
• CPR certification and knowledge of basic first aid.
• Must complete state required training and Atria medication management training.
• Able to work flexible hours and driving responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, develop, and schedule resident services staff according to Atria's policies.
• Establish and maintain a medication system which adheres to state, federal and company laws.
• Perform assessments and reassessments to determine resident needs and service plans.
• Operate the Resident Services Department within budget and according to policies.
• Complete daily Quality Enhancement reviews to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, department heads, and staff.
• Provide training and orientation to new assisted living staff and ongoing training to current staff.
