Job summary

Qualifications

• DVM with PhD/ABVS board certification required.
• Academic record consistent with Full Professor rank.
• Senior leadership experience in academia, healthcare, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and execution of research, innovation, and entrepreneurship strategy.
• Define and advance mission-aligned research priorities and translational work.
• Serve as chief research and innovation officer and liaison to external partners.
• Expand interdisciplinary collaborations across Lyon College and partners.
• Identify and secure extramural funding from federal, state, foundations, and industry.
• Establish mentoring and professional development programs for faculty and students.
• Ensure meaningful student engagement in research and entrepreneurship.
• Foster access to research and innovation infrastructure through partnerships.
