Job summary

National Park Service is seeking a Supervisory Park Ranger (Protection) to serve as Chief Ranger for Cumberland Island National Seashore and Fort Frederica National Monument. Government housing may be available, and recruitment or relocation incentives may be offered.

The incumbent supervises the Division of Resource and Visitor Protection, provides technical law enforcement leadership, and oversees safety, emergency services, fire management, and partnerships across two park units.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Visitor and Resource Protection staff.
• Serve as Chief Ranger and Senior law Enforcement Officer for Cumberland Island National Seashore and Fort Frederica National Monument.
• Establish and maintain effective relationships with park partners, concessionaire operators, residents, and federal, state and local agencies.
