Job summary

HCA Florida Blake Hospital in Bradenton, FL, seeks a Vice President of Quality and Patient Safety to lead organizational quality and performance improvement. You will shape a culture of safety and oversee risk management, regulatory compliance, and accreditation readiness across the hospital.

As a pivotal member of the leadership team, you will collaborate with clinical and administrative partners to develop education programs, implement data-driven interventions, and monitor core quality

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or Healthcare-related field required; Master's Degree preferred.
• Florida licensure as IN Nursing or Healthcare preferred; CPHQ/ABQUARP/ABQAURP level credentials encouraged.
• CPHQ (Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality) OR CHCQM (Diplomate in American Board of Quality Assurance and Utilization Review Physicians) required or grace period available.
• CPPS (Certified Professional in Patient Safety) preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience; knowledge of State, Federal, and TJC regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute organizational quality and performance improvement strategies.
• Lead organizational risk management programs to ensure compliance with mandates and accreditation standards.
• Lead education programs for staff, medical staff and board members on risk assessment, data trends and interventions.
• Oversee organization-wide occurrence reporting system; analyze trends and implement interventions.
• Ensure compliance with JCAHO, regulatory and accrediting agency requirements.
