HCT Healthcare Transformation seeks an interim Chief Quality Officer for a 70+ bed hospital in Arizona. This leadership role drives continuous improvement, oversees quality initiatives, and partners with executive leadership to enhance patient outcomes and experience.

The position requires a master's degree, board licensure, and substantial experience in performance improvement and hospital operations. Housing and travel support are provided during the assignment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in healthcare and/or business administration.
• Valid, current, full and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the USA.
• 7+ years leading performance improvement/quality management.
• 5+ years leadership experience in hospital and ambulatory care environments, including management of clinical services lines or regional operations.
• CPHQ certification preferred.

• Provide leadership on continuous improvement and redesign of processes to improve patient satisfaction and outcomes.
• Oversee Quality, Care Coordination, Utilization Review, DME, Transport, PBCs, Purchased Referred Care, Patient Experience, Performance Improvement and Data Reporting, and Ambulatory Care.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop strategies that support the quality mission and facilitate integration of services across the health care continuum.
• Oversee efforts to monitor and maintain compliance with regulatory, State, Federal government, and Joint Commission standards.

HCT seeks an experienced professional to serve as the interim Chief Quality Officer for a 70+ bed hospital in Arizona. Responsibilities include:

• Leadership and guidance on continuous improvement and redesign of processes, utilization, and quality initiatives as well as the enhancement and improvement of patient satisfaction and outcomes.


• Oversight of Quality, Care Coordination, Utilization Review, DME, Transport, Patient Benefits Coordinators (PBC), Purchased Referred Care, Patient Experience, Performance Improvement and Data Reporting, and Ambulatory Care.


• Working collaboratively with leadership to develop strategies that support the quality mission and facilitate the integration of services across the entire health care continuum.


• Oversight of all hospital efforts to monitor and maintain compliance with all regulatory, State, Federal government, and Joint Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organization standards.

Requirements:

• Education: Master's degree in healthcare and/or business administration required.


• Licensure: A valid, current, full and unrestricted Professional Nursing License to practice nursing in any state of the USA.


• Experience: At least seven years of experience leading performance improvement/quality management areas, at least five years of progressive leadership responsible experience in a hospital and ambulatory care environment, including experience in management of clinical services lines or regional operations.


• Certifications: CPHQ preferred

• Expenses covered while on assignment include housing, airfare and rental car.
