Job summary

Ascot Group, a leading specialty reinsurance firm, seeks a senior executive to lead the Property Facultative business in the U.S., reporting to the President and collaborating with executive leadership. You will shape strategy, portfolio performance, capital deployment, and client relationships across cedants and brokers.

You will drive disciplined underwriting, leverage AI-enabled tools and analytics, and build a high-performing team across the U.S., Bermuda, and U.K.

Qualifications

• Executive-level leadership with responsibility for a large underwriting business.
• Deep knowledge of Property Facultative underwriting and risk evaluation.
• Experience shaping strategy, P&L, capital deployment, and governance.
• Proven ability to partner with senior stakeholders and drive results.

Responsibilities

• Own the vision, strategy, business plan, and financial performance for Property Facultative.
• Advise the President, Ascot Re, and senior committees on market conditions and portfolio performance.
• Lead portfolio management across risks, renewals, and capacity allocation.
• Drive profitable growth through segments, products, and client solutions.
• Cultivate executive relationships with cedants, brokers, and partners.
• Lead negotiations on terms, pricing, and complex transactions.
• Collaborate with global platforms to deliver integrated solutions and governance.
