Job summary

Lone Star College System Office is seeking a Chief Property Officer to provide executive leadership and strategic oversight of Property Services across all campuses. The CPO aligns facilities, capital investments, maintenance, real estate portfolio, and support services with institutional priorities while ensuring responsible stewardship of assets.

The role leads senior administrators and reports to EVCO, overseeing capital projects, procurement, and compliance while driving performance

Qualifications

Master's degree and at least 10 years of work experience; executive management experience.
MBA or closely related field preferred and professional licenses/certifications.
Experience overseeing facilities operations, capital projects, or property management.

Responsibilities

Lead Property Services vision, strategy, and long-term operations across all LSC locations.
Direct asset and space portfolio management within institutional priorities.
Develop and manage Property Services budget and funding priorities.
Ensure compliance with rules, regulations, and contractual requirements.
Set performance expectations and KPIs; drive data-driven improvements.
Coordinate operations with capital planning and major projects.
