Job summary

Brilliant Corners is seeking a Chief Program Officer to lead California's Housing Services Department, aligning statewide strategy with local execution across Flex Pool, intensive case management, and behavioral health partnerships.

As a member of the Executive Team, you will supervise senior leaders, drive program quality, evaluation, and client participation, and advance Housing First, equity, and sustainable growth statewide.

Qualifications

• At least 12 years of progressively responsible executive leadership experience in human services, housing, or related fields.
• Experience overseeing multi‑program, multi‑region portfolios with significant operational and financial responsibility.
• Experience designing or overseeing Housing First, supportive housing, case management, or related programs preferred.
• Strong financial acumen and ability to manage large budgets and government contracts.
• Ability to build senior‑level relationships with public agencies, funders, and partners.
• Proficient in data‑informed decision making and program quality improvement.

Responsibilities

• Set statewide housing services strategy and ensure execution across Flex Pool, case management, and behavioral health.
• Lead and develop Deputy Chief Program Officers and senior leaders.
• Provide executive oversight of quality assurance, program evaluation, policy development, and client participation.
• Guide design, development, and growth of new programs and partnerships.
• Oversee financial health and braided funding across the portfolio.
• Represent Brilliant Corners to government agencies, plans, healthcare partners and stakeholders.
• Ensure organizational alignment and cross‑functional partnership.
• Champion Housing First and equity in program design and service delivery.
