Job summary

Beacon EmbeddedWorks, part of DiscoverIE, seeks a Chief Product Officer to set technology direction and shape the product portfolio. This strategic, growth-oriented role focuses on translating technology choices into measurable commercial outcomes, with emphasis on revenue growth and margin improvement.

Location: Eden Prairie, MN in Office. The CPO will lead cross-functional teams, engage with key customers and partners, and guide investments and risk management to drive long-term enterprise

Qualifications

• 15+ years in embedded technology, product leadership, and customer-facing technical roles.
• Proven ability to link technology decisions to commercial success and long-term value.
• Strong communication skills and cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.
• MBA or equivalent business education is a plus.
• Experience in regulated or mission-critical markets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set technology direction and portfolio strategy across Beacon EmbeddedWorks and Diamond Technologies.
• Provide customer-facing technical credibility and strategic guidance to leadership and partners.
• Drive growth enablement by aligning technology with revenue opportunities and margins.
• Lead collaboration with silicon vendors, platform partners and development teams.
• Manage risk, architecture, and long-term value creation through disciplined decision-making.
