Magellan Jets, a Quincy, MA-based private aviation leader, seeks a VP, Procurement to shape broad sourcing strategy across aviation operators, catering, and tech vendors. You will build a high-performing team and partner with Finance and CTO to drive efficiency while safeguarding client funds.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Aviation Management, Finance or related field.
• MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute an enterprise procurement strategy aligned with asset-light growth.
• Oversee procurement categories: aviation operators, catering, transport, tech, facilities.
• Lead and scale a procurement team, mentoring senior staff.
• Drive sourcing initiatives to maximize value while maintaining safety.
• Serve as a full member of the Senior Leadership Team and influence company strategy.
• Build and govern the Magellan Jets Preferred Network of operators and crew.
• Establish procurement governance and controls protecting client funds.
• Partner with Finance on spend analytics, KPIs, and savings pipelines.
• Lead contract lifecycle management across major vendor relationships.
• Collaborate with CTO on aviation tech platforms and AI stack.
• Represent Procurement in executive forums, board updates, investor discussions.
• Evaluate build-vs-buy-vs-partner decisions for new services.
