Job summary

First National Bank of Omaha (FNBO) is seeking a seasoned Head of Private Wealth Advisory to lead FNBO’s most sophisticated client segment. You will guide a team delivering an integrated wealth model across investment management, fiduciary solutions, planning, private banking, and family governance to serve HNW/UHNW families with $5M+ in investable assets.

You will shape strategy, build partnerships across Wealth Management and other lines of business, and ensure service standards remain

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of leadership in private wealth serving HNW/UHNW clients.
• Demonstrated ability to win and retain complex client relationships.
• Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or advanced planning credentials preferred.
• Licenses: FINRA Series 65/66 required.
• Advanced designations desired: CFP®, CFA®, CTFA®, CIMA®, CPA®, CEPA

Responsibilities

• Own HNW/UHNW segment results: revenue, flows, advisor productivity, and profitability.
• Lead with a growth mindset, continuously raising standards and driving a high-performance culture.
• Develop and execute comprehensive client acquisition strategies for HNW/UHNW markets, including referrals and partnerships.
• Shape segment roadmap based on client and market intelligence.
• Benchmark and optimize advisory capabilities and capacity for UHNW trends and competition.
• Develop and execute strategic partnerships across Wealth Management, Retail Banking, and other FNBO lines.
• Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure seamless client experiences across FNBO services.
• Lead cross-functional teams to align wealth strategy with enterprise goals.
