Job summary

Takeda is seeking an executive- level leader for privacy, AI governance, and data governance. The role drives enterprise governance, policy development, and strategic partnerships across the company to enable responsible innovation while safeguarding personal data and regulatory compliance.

The position requires extensive experience in global privacy frameworks, stakeholder collaboration, and building trusted relationships with regulators, customers, and partners. Boston-based, full-time role.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive leadership in privacy, responsible AI governance, data governance, or governance within global regulated organizations.
• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Law, Business, Public Policy, or related field.
• Experience leading enterprise privacy programs and global governance frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary advisor to executive leadership on enterprise privacy, responsible AI governance, and trusted data use.
• Lead a global privacy program and enterprise governance frameworks across functions and regions.
• Translate evolving privacy and AI expectations into practical business guidance that enables innovation.
• Build high-performing teams and foster an inclusive, learning-focused culture.
• Represent Takeda with regulators and industry groups to shape leading practices.
