Job summary

TEEL Construction, Inc. is seeking a Vice President of Preconstruction & Business Development to lead the front end of our business.

You will unify Estimating, Business Development, Marketing, Advisory Services, and Procurement under one strategy, reporting to the CEO, and guiding leadership across five functions. You will drive Go/No-Go discipline, ensure accurate estimates, and strengthen client relationships while building organizational capacity and long-term growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of progressive commercial construction/preconstruction experience.
• At least 5 years of leadership of people, teams, or departments.
• Experience leading across multiple Preconstruction functions (Estimating, BD, Marketing, Advisory, Procurement).
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Lead 5 Preconstruction functions as an integrated strategic effort.
• Build and strengthen the Preconstruction organization and leadership.
• Establish KPIs, standards, and procedures across Preconstruction.
• Partner with Leadership on strategy, planning, and resource allocation.
• Oversee estimating, procurement, advisory services, and operations transitions.
