Job summary

STATE STREET CORPORATION is seeking a senior platform leader to head Developer Platforms & Experience, driving the internal product organisation that designs, builds and operates the paved road for software delivery. The role demands technical depth, architecture decisions, and measurable adoption of platform capabilities across a large enterprise.

You will own DPX strategy, set SLOs, consolidate tooling, and partner with security and architecture teams to ensure compliant, rapid software

Responsibilities

• Platform strategy & delivery — Own the DPX strategy, roadmap and delivery across all product areas; set and hold platform SLOs, treating the developer platform as a Tier 1 production service.
• Standards & governance — Co‑chair the Technology Standards Board and own engineering recommendations; maintain the Technology Radar and retire end‑of‑life technologies.
• Secure SDLC & Common Core — Jointly own the Secure SDLC and Common Core engineering capability with the CISO; build shared core libraries and SBOM generation.
• Organisation & leadership — Build and develop a high‑calibre developer platform organisation; instill product‑management and agile disciplines.
• Stakeholder leadership & influence — Earn adoption from business‑unit leaders through demonstrated value; partner with EA, Cyber Security, Compute Platforms, Data & AI.
