Job summary

Pilot Assessments is seeking a Chief Pilot to provide strategic and day-to-day leadership of all flight operations under an Air Carrier Certificate. You will blend hands-on flying with department leadership, training, and SMS compliance to deliver safe, reliable service.

The role requires extensive flight hours, ATP certification, and strong leadership, communication, and regulatory knowledge. Travel and scale of responsibility are significant, with collaboration across Ops, Maintenance, Safety,

Qualifications

  • Meet all FAA Chief Pilot qualifications under 14 CFR Part 119.
  • Hold a valid, unrestricted ATP for the aircraft category.
  • Hold a Citation XLS or CE-525 type rating with operational experience.
  • Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
  • Qualified under approved training to serve as PIC on at least one company aircraft.
  • 7,500+ hours total time with Aspen flying experience.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of GOM, Training Manuals, SOPs; FAA Parts 91, 119, 135; SMS; OCP concepts.
  • Demonstrated leadership, communication, organization, problem-solving, and decision-making.
  • Jet Insight experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Organize, staff, supervise, and direct all flight operations across Part 135 and Part 91.
  • Fly as line pilot and serve as PIC on scheduled/charter flights.
  • Exercise limited operational-control authority under the Air Carrier Certificate.
  • Manage operational-control, flight safety, fleet and crew standardization, and personnel development.
  • Promote professionalism, accountability, and operational excellence.
