Job summary

Company LLC, based in Texas, seeks a Chief Pilot to lead flight operations and training programs. You will supervise flight department staff, serve as PIC on scheduled and charter flights, and ensure compliance with FAA regulations and the SMS framework.

You will collaborate with Operations, Maintenance, Safety, and leadership to drive safety, standardization, and operational excellence across Part 135 and Part 91 operations.

Qualifications

• Meets FAA qualifications for Chief Pilot under 14 CFR Part 119.
• Holds a valid ATP certificate for the aircraft type operated by the company (e.g., Citation XLS or CE-525).
• Current FAA First-Class Medical Certificate.
• Total time of 7,500 hours; Aspen flying experience preferred.
• Familiar with FAA Parts 91, 119, and 135; strong SMS knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Organize, staff, supervise all flight operations conducted by the company.
• Serve as PIC on scheduled and charter flights as assigned.
• Oversee flight training programs, line checks, and standardization.
• Promote safety culture, pilot proficiency, and compliance with SMS.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and readiness for FAA inspections and audits.
• Collaborate with Director of Operations and Director of Maintenance on ops strategy.
