Job summary

ACI Jet seeks a Chief Pilot to lead flight operations, supervise crews, and uphold the highest safety and regulatory standards. You will coordinate with the Director of Operations, mentor pilots, dispatchers, and training staff, and represent the certificate holder with the FAA.

The role requires 5,000+ total flight hours, international/oceanic experience, ATP rating, a First Class Medical, and a U.S. passport, with CFR Part 119.71 qualifications.

Qualifications

• 5,000+ hours total flight time required.
• International/oceanic operations experience.
• 3+ years leadership/management experience.
• Meets CFR Part 119.71 qualifications.
• Current and valid Pilot’s Certificate with English Proficient endorsement.
• Valid, unrestricted ATP rating.
• Able to obtain/maintain First Class Medical.
• Able to maintain U.S. Passport.
• Bachelor’s degree or 3–5 years aviation experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and manage flight crews; hire, terminate, and assign crewmembers to duty positions.
• Coordinate with Dispatch on crew assignments and ensure compliance with policies and regs.
• Oversee Dispatch with respect to regulatory, policy, and procedural adherence.
• Supervise the Director of Training regarding all training activities for flight crew, dispatchers, and cabin crew.
• Partner with the Director of Operations to formulate, implement, and refine operations policies and procedures.
• Add/remove aircraft from certificate; ensure documentation onboard all aircraft.
• Maintain weight and balance program across the fleet.
• Ensure flight crew are qualified, current, and scheduled per OPS Specs and FARs.
• Manage MEL program and related operational controls.
• Act for certificate holder, including signing FAA correspondence and OPS specs.
• Maintain personal proficiency and currency as Pilot-in-Command.
