Job summary

The Arc Rockland seeks a Chief Development Officer to lead its fundraising program, driving philanthropic growth, revenue diversification, and long-term sustainability. You will oversee annual giving, major gifts, planned giving, corporate/foundation partnerships, government funding, sponsorships, campaigns, and donor engagement initiatives in a mission-driven setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business management, or related field required.
• Progressive senior-level fundraising experience with major gifts and donor stewardship.
• Experience in non-profit fundraising strategy, campaigns, and events preferred.

Responsibilities

• Partner with CEO to align fundraising priorities with the mission and growth goals.
• Provide leadership to development staff, including hiring, training, and performance management.
• Develops and manages annual fundraising goals, budgets, and performance measures.
• Leads fundraising strategy across major gifts, planned giving, annual giving, and gov't funding.
• Oversees donor engagement, grant opportunities, and relationships with funders and board.
• Oversees fundraising events, gift processing, and record-keeping with accuracy.
