Florida Cancer Specialists & Research Institute seeks a visionary Chief Pharmacy Officer to lead our enterprise pharmacy strategy across Pharmacy Operations, RxToGo, Pharmacy Solutions, and Centralized Procurement. You will drive clinical quality, regulatory integrity, patient access, and growth through a high-performing team and executive governance.

Qualifications

• Senior-level experience leading a multi-site pharmacy enterprise with accountability for clinical, financial, regulatory, growth, and patient-access outcomes.
• Ability to translate strategy into governance, priorities, and measurable results across senior leaders.
• Deep understanding of oncology drug economics, reimbursement, sourcing, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Establish and lead the enterprise pharmacy strategy across Pharmacy Operations, RxToGo, Pharmacy Solutions, and Centralized Procurement.
• Maintain executive accountability for performance including clinical quality, regulatory integrity, patient access, growth, and financial outcomes.
• Translate strategy into priorities and performance expectations for senior leaders; ensure effective execution.
• Partner with physician leadership and executives to align pharmacy strategy with clinical priorities and operational needs.
• Define the growth direction for RxToGo and other dispensing capabilities; drive patient experience and business performance.
• Set enterprise sourcing, procurement, and vendor management strategies; ensure safety and efficiency.
• Provide oversight for pharmacy compliance, accreditation, medication safety, and quality; govern formulary decisions and resource use.
• Develop operating and capital plans for pharmacy; communicate performance, risks, and opportunities to the board.
• Establish enterprise performance metrics across clinical, operational, financial, access, and quality domains.
• Collaborate with Managed Care, Revenue Cycle, Finance, IT, and Clinical to align strategies and payer relationships.
• Lead the technology, data, and automation roadmap for pharmacy and procurement.
• Sponsor priorities related to acquisitions, integrations, and new site development.
• Represent FCS in strategic partnerships and enterprise negotiations affecting pharmacy and procurement.
• Build and develop a high-performing senior leadership team and a culture of safety, collaboration, and accountability.
• Serve as a thought partner to the CEO on market dynamics, reimbursement, and risk management.
