Job summary

Grane Rx seeks an experienced Director of Pharmacy Compliance to lead enterprise regulatory oversight across Pittsburgh-area locations. This on-site leadership role emphasizes sterile and nonsterile compounding, multistate compliance, risk management, and policy development.

The ideal candidate is a licensed pharmacist with deep knowledge of pharmacy regulations, capable of translating complex requirements into practical operating processes and leading a comprehensive compliance program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or higher) and minimum of five years of experience in pharmacy compliance, regulatory affairs, or a closely related field.
• Direct regulatory or operational experience with sterile and nonsterile compounding.
• Demonstrated knowledge of USP Chapters <795>, <797>, and <800>.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and oversee the organization’s pharmacy compliance and regulatory risk-management program.
• Monitor federal and state pharmacy laws, regulations, standards, and regulatory guidance.
• Maintain a comprehensive regulatory requirements matrix for each state in which the organization operates or holds licensure.
• Evaluate new and changing state requirements and determine their operational impact.
• Conduct enterprise compliance risk assessments and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.
• Establish compliance monitoring, auditing, reporting, and escalation processes.
