Qualifications

• B.S. or PharmD Degree in Pharmacy.
• Current Pharmacist Licensure in PA in good standing.
• 1+ year's experience in long term care, retail, or hospital pharmacy.
• Experience with intravenous admixtures preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational services.
• Work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Process new and refill prescription orders, preparation, and dispense medications.
• Collaborate with Pharmacy Technicians and Order Entry Technicians in prep and dispensing of medications.
• Interpret clinically; assess drug interactions, disease and food interactions, and allergies.
• Ensure accurate and efficient dispensing of medications.
• Communicate with prescribers and other health care providers.
• Ensure safety practices and compliance with regulations.
• Assist in enforcing company and departmental policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Responsible in providing day to day operational services
• Ability to work flexible hours, which may include evening, weekends, and holidays
• Process new and refill patient prescription orders, preparation, and dispense medications
• Work closely with Pharmacy Technicians and Order Entry Technicians in the preparation and dispensing of medications
• Proficient in clinical interpretation; drug-drug, drug-disease, drug-food interaction and allergies
• Performs accurately and efficiently when dispensing medications
• Communicates with prescribers and other health care provider
• Ensures safety practices and procedures are followed
• Assist in the enforcement of all company and departmental policies and procedures
• Ensures compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations related to pharmacy practices
