Job summary

Figma is seeking a Director, People Partners for Product, Design & Engineering to partner with senior leaders, coaching and guiding the organization through growth and change. This full-time role sits at the San Francisco hub.

You will lead a team of People Partners across PDE, drive org design, talent reviews, performance processes, and strategic people programs to enable fast, thoughtful scale and alignment with company goals.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as a People Partner leader in high-growth environments, including managing a team and partnering directly with executive leaders.
• Experience partnering with Product, Design, and Engineering leaders; fluency in how technical and design teams operate.
• Strong business and technical acumen to understand product and business.
• Ability to challenge and advise senior leaders to influence decisions.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the strategic People Partner to Figmas CTO and Chief Design Officer, building credibility and trust to influence how they lead, organize, and grow their teams.
• Lead and develop a talented team of People Partners across the Product, Design and Engineering organizations.
• Lead and execute People Programs such as org design, resource management, performance, and change management through periods of rapid scaling, reorganization, and shifting priorities.
• Drive core people cycles for your orgs across performance, calibration, talent reviews, succession planning while raising the bar on quality and consistency.
• Partner across the People function and our cross functional partners to help execute the People strategy across the PDE organization.
• Use data and insights to inform your point of view, measure impact, and tell a compelling story to the leaders you support.
• Help shape and scale the People Partner function itself - developing partners, strengthening the operating model, and modeling what great looks like.
