Job summary

Jericho Road Community Health Center seeks a Chief People Officer to lead HR strategy across all sites, with a primary location at 181 Barton, Buffalo, NY. The role reports to the CEO and sits on the Executive Team, overseeing talent acquisition, compensation, benefits, and employee development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, organizational development, psychology, or related field; master's degree preferred.
• Significant progressive leadership experience in human resources, including substantial responsibility for leading an HR function in a complex organization.
• Experience fostering an organizational culture rooted in accountability, inclusion, and wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for Jericho Road’s human resources and people strategy, aligned with our mission and priorities.
• Oversee talent acquisition, onboarding, retention, compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, and development.
• Strengthen systems for performance, accountability, recognition, engagement, and workforce planning.
• Partner with leaders on complex employee relations matters and ensure compliant employment practices.
• Oversee HR resources, systems, budget, and team performance using workforce data for continuous improvement.
