Job summary

Taco Bamba is seeking a strategic, hands-on HR leader to own the people function as the brand scales across new units and markets. This senior role partners directly with the CEO and executives to hire, develop, and retain exceptional talent while protecting the culture that defines Taco Bamba.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required; SHRM-SCP, SPHR, or equivalent certification preferred.
10+ years of progressive HR leadership experience, including extensive restaurant experience.
Experience in multi-unit restaurant environments with a large hourly workforce.
Proven ability to build or significantly improve a people function, including recruiting, development, compensation, and systems.

Responsibilities

Shape the people strategy to support growth and operations across multiple units.
Build and lead a scalable HR team and design future-state structure as the company grows.
Implement HR systems and reporting for real-time headcount, turnover, and labor trends by location.
Advise CEO and leadership on people decisions, role design, and team effectiveness.
Own talent review, performance frameworks, and promotion criteria.
Oversee compensation, benefits, and equity-related programs.
