Job summary

Crittenton Services is seeking a Vice President of Human Resources to provide executive leadership and strategic oversight of HR operations, workforce strategy, employee relations, compensation, benefits, and employment law compliance.

Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this role serves as the agency's CA employment law expert while guiding culture, engagement, leadership development, and workforce retention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum of seven to ten years of progressive Human Resources experience.
• Expertise in California employment law, employee relations, wage-and-hour compliance, and workplace investigations.

Responsibilities

• Provide executive leadership and strategic direction for all HR functions.
• Serve as senior advisor on California employment law, workforce strategy, and organizational development.
• Lead organizational change, policy implementation, and operational improvements.
• Establish HR governance, policies, and performance standards.
• Oversee compensation structures, payroll, benefits, and retirement plans.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, CFRA, ADA, FEHA, and other CA requirements.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, Public Administration, or related field
