Job summary

Xero is seeking a VP People Experience Partnering to act as a direct HR Business Partner to senior leaders and lead HRBP teams. You will develop and embed the global People strategy, partnering with executives to drive impactful people programs and compliance across North America, especially the U.S.

and Canada. You will mentor and grow your HR teams, manage complex employee relations, and leverage data to shape workforce planning and talent management.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic HR Business Partnering to XLT members and lead the Business Partners for their function.
• Advise North America MD on regional issues affecting the U.S. and Canada.
• Collaborate with PX leaders to align with the one-team approach across HR Partnering.
• Work with PX CoE teams to deliver global people programs locally.
• Identify development opportunities for your team and model PX capabilities.
• Support talent management, calibration, design, and restructures as needed.
• Handle complex ER issues and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Utilize data to analyze trends and inform policy decisions.
• Support recruitment priorities and workforce planning for your portfolio.
• Ensure CoEs understand priorities in Business Services portfolios.
