Pylon is hiring its first dedicated People leader to own People Ops, HR, performance and recruiting as we scale. You will directly influence payroll, equity, benefits, onboarding, and compliance, while building scalable processes.

You'll partner with founders on org design, culture, and leadership decisions, shaping a high-performance, in-person People function in San Francisco. This is a rare chance to establish the function from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience scaling People functions from 50 to 500 employees.
• Ability to own People Ops, HR, perf/comp, recruiting and culture.
• Familiar with payroll, benefits, compliance and immigration.

Responsibilities

• Own People Ops, payroll, benefits, compliance, onboarding and offboarding.
• Own performance, compensation programs, and manager coaching.
• Lead recruiting and headcount planning with founders.
• Shape culture and align with company values.
• Build scalable HR processes and org design with the team.
