Job summary

Ray Therapeutics is seeking an Executive Medical Director, Clinical Development to lead ophthalmology-focused programs across early- and late-stage trials. You will shape development strategy, oversee trial protocols, and interface with investigators, regulators, and external partners.

The role requires an MD/DO/PharmD with 7–10 years in biotech/pharma and strong leadership in clinical development, with expertise in ophthalmology, retina, or neuroscience.

Responsibilities

• Shape clinical development strategy for ophthalmology programs.

• Lead cross-functional collaborations with Clinical Ops, Regulatory and Safety teams.
• Contribute to study design, regulatory submissions and scientific communications.
• Mentor clinical staff and support regulatory interactions and portfolio management.
