Job summary

Regeneron Pharmaceuticals, Inc (USA) seeks an Associate Medical Director, Clinical Development, Ophthalmology to lead medical strategy for ophthalmology trials and guide the Global Clinical Study Team to timely milestones. You will partner with discovery teams and the Therapeutic Head to shape study concepts and ensure scientific accuracy.

MD or equivalent with board eligibility in Ophthalmology is required, along with 0-2 years of academic clinical or translational research experience;

Qualifications

• MD or equivalent with board eligibility or certification in Ophthalmology.
• 0-2 years of academic clinical or translational research experience.
• Experience in Ophthalmic drug development strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as medical expert and leader in interactions with external stakeholders.
• Define clinical trial-related Clinical Development Program goals and objectives.
• Partner with discovery teams to shape the next generation of targets in Ophthalmology.
• Ensure scientific accuracy of clinical study concepts through rigorous review and consultation.
• Present clinical study concepts to Therapeutic Head and governance meetings.
• Lead the Global Clinical Study Team to deliver milestones on schedule.
• Oversee medical content of clinical study reports and data analyses for safety.
